Very nice photo gallery, especially the venerable Natural History building! On the other, I didn't know brutalist could be that interesting.
Have you been to Mexico City? If not, you must. Green green green. Trees growing right in the middle of buildings, even ones several stories high.

Excellent! Visit the San Angel neighborhood on a Saturday. There is a huge bazaar with all kinds of beautiful finds and art everywhere.
Maybe England was too mature as a civilization to do Art Deco in the proper starry-eyed flamboyant way.. But that museum is breathtaking!

Brutalism tends to look good in Brazil because plants grow so fast that they soon engulf most of the concrete, leaving a romantic Lost City in the Jungle effect.
I often think to myself that brutalism belongs in the jungle! But all that porous raw concrete...
